Beginner Biking - Free Class!
Beginner Biking is a free bike skills course for adults who have never ridden a bike to learn basic bike-riding skills and safety tips from experts. Those who already have bicycling experience can get support with skills such as signaling, turning, and interacting with other people biking or walking.
The Beginner Biking course runs for two hours and is designed for adults who are 18 and older. Each two-hour lesson allows students to learn the basic skills they need to be comfortable riding a bicycle, all based on their experience level. The lessons are taught using Explore Bike Share bikes which are provided at no cost, along with a personal helmet for each adult student.
You must register to participate in the course as space is limited and classes are assigned on a first come, first served basis. To sign up, fill out the registration form here.
