A Transportation Management Association (TMA) is a partnership between businesses and organizations working together to create a better network of transportation and parking solutions. Major goals of TMA collaboration are to expand public knowledge of mobility choices, reduce the number of trips made alone in personal vehicles. and elevate sustainable transportation options. This process is known as “transportation demand-management” (or, TDM).
One of the biggest challenges facing both employers and employees when deciding to make a commuting change is knowing how to do it. The Core TMA provides and promotes up-to-date transportation options and solutions to help employers and employees find ways to switch up their commute. Our goal is to help our community see these options as legitimate, long-term, convenient, and cost-effective solutions.
